Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MyDrams, a personal whisky tasting journal available at mydrams.app and on iOS and Android. By creating an account or otherwise using MyDrams, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

“MyDrams”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the MyDrams service, contactable at whisky@mydrams.app.

MyDrams is intended for users of legal drinking age in their country of residence. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may close accounts where we have reason to believe the user is below the legal drinking age.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since MyDrams uses passwordless sign-in via email. Do not share your sign-in codes with anyone. You may not impersonate another person or create an account using an email address that you do not own.

When using MyDrams you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that harms us or other users.
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone else’s rights.
• Attempt to access, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its underlying systems.
• Use the service to send spam, phishing attempts, or any unsolicited communications.
• Encourage or glorify excessive or hazardous consumption of alcohol.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

You retain ownership of the tasting notes, photos, and other content you submit to MyDrams (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of operating the service for you. We do not sell or share Your Content with advertisers or third parties beyond the processors listed in our Privacy Policy.

Bottle details (distillery, region, official tasting notes, etc.) are curated centrally and remain the property of MyDrams or its licensors.

MyDrams is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We may discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.

MyDrams is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in the future. If we do, you will not be charged for anything without your explicit consent, and any features you already use will remain available under the terms in force when you signed up, except where we need to change them for legal or security reasons.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Edit profile → Delete account) or by emailing whisky@mydrams.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or if required to do so by law. On termination, your personal data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyDrams is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
